Still very pregnant!

I had the boys at 35 weeks 6 days. I am now 37 weeks pregnant. This is the most pregnant I have ever been. I am feeling pretty good, but getting tired. It is still so much easier than with the boys. The boys seem to know something new is coming and are being very sweet to mommy.

Day at the zoo

On Saturday, we went to the zoo and met Jack & Bates' friend Avery and her mom Jessica. We had so much fun and saw so many animals. Our favorite was the monkeys and gorillas. Bates had a nervous breakdown when it was time to leave them. Jack saw the pandas, but Bates wanted to look at the stuffed pandas in the gift shop window. We also dropped by the petting zoo to see the goats and the pig. Both boys were a little timid but still had fun seeing the animals up close. Jessica and I both forgot to bring cameras! We only have these pictures taken after our big nap!

Thank you Mrs. Wright for the adorable outfits! We love wearing them and pointing out the fish to everyone!

Day at the park

On a recent gorgeous day, we went to our favorite park in Ansley. This park is super with tons of fun equipment and lots of trees for shade. Jack had a blast throwing and chasing his ball.

Bates the strong man on the rings. He would hold on so tight!

Bates on the swings. He looks like such a big boy.

Jack & Bates taking turns on the slide.

Yum - Chocolate Pudding!

For a treat, I gave the boys chocolate pudding. Bates thought it was divine - Jack would rather have fig newtons.

Bates & the two cashews

Bates loves peanut butter - he eats a lot of peanut butter. I learned a very important lesson about peanuts and tree nuts - they are not the same. I gave Bates 2 cashews. Ten minutes later he threw up, fell asleep for about 15 minutes, and woke up with horrible hives. I was panicked! We called the emergency doctor line and we were listing out all the symptoms and she said it sounded like a food allergy - so the cashews (the only food that day that was a first. Bates is not upset in these pictures. He is laughing like a crazy man. The hives cleared up in about 3 days and never bothered him - no itching at all.

Easter in Decatur

We drove to Decatur, AL for Easter and for a much needed visit with Pitty Pat and Gramps. The boys did incredible on the long car ride and slept so well in their cribs.

Jack & Bates with Pitty Pat and Gramps. Pitty Pat made their adorable outfits with sailboats.

The boys loved Easter egg hunting in the front yard. It was a beautiful day!

Pitty Pat made this yummy bunny cake - I love strawberries and so do the boys!

Jack and Bates loved hanging out with their older cousin Henry. Henry was incredible with the boys. He was so patient and sweet to them. He even brought balls to play with them - the boys were in heaven.

Welcome!

Welcome to our new blog. We needed to change the name with the expansion of our family. We started this blog as a way for family and friends to keep up with our twins and our new baby due in early June. Please enjoy and check back often.

We are headed to Alabama this weekend to celebrate Easter with Pitty Pat and Gramps. We hear the weather is supposed to be beautiful. We will take tons of pictures and post as soon as possible. Happy Easter!
